Omar is an ICT Consultant, Geographer (B.Sc.), Urban Planner (M.U.P.), teacher and activist based in Montreal.

His interests include Information & Communication Technologies (Free, Libre & Open Source Software, Geographical Information Systems, web-based collaboration, etc.), international development and solidarity (environmental protection, appropriate technologies, privacy laws, participatory decision making structures, e-democracy and FLOSS - see above) and, of course, a whole lot more.

Disponibilité / intérêts

I would like to have fulltime (40 hours/week) regular employment within Koumbit. This could be accomplished either by a direct salaried position or by a combination of up to 30 hours per week for "permanence" tasks within Koumbit and additional contracts on the side. I would like to concentrate more on coordination, strategic positioning, webdev and communication/marketing but am ready to do sales to make Koumbit a success.
